Proper control system design is the key to success when it comes to guaranteeing the efficient commissioning and operation of your turbomachinery. That relates not only to the implemented functionality for direct machine control, but also to the interface with other systems such as vibration monitoring, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Emergency ShutDown (ESD) systems, Motor Control Center (MCC), Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and so on, which are of great importance too. Nonetheless the physical integration between these systems calls for a proper, wellconsidered control system philosophy for your machine’s alarm systems and their visualization and operation.

Control-Care‘s experience stretches across all stages of the certification process: from organizing the machine component documentation during design to the calculations for IS control loops. Certifying organizations can be assisted and guided on site to get your machine certified.

Control-Care engineers have a broad experience in the design, commissioning and operation of turbomachinery. We are able to look beyond the boundaries of the packaged units and achieve full system integration. Control-Care can assist and support at the various stages of control system design, construction and testing, including Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).

Due to the multidiscipline competencies of our employees, only one engineer is required on site to cover various control systems, which obviously has a positive effect on costs and planning. Furthermore, a competent engineer is mostly readily available in case of specific issues on the customer’s applications.

Turbomachinery packages require certification before being operated. Turbomachinery control systems and machine-mounted instrumentation come with an enormous amount of ATEX and CE documentation. Since several sub-suppliers are usually involved in a project, organizing all that documentation may impose a challenge. Control-Care provides clarity and standardisation.
